Ready for an adventure with your spouse?
Welcome to the second annual Husband and Wife Lodge Trip on the wild and scenic Rogue River! Last year was a hit, so we decided to do the same trip this year. There will be beautiful scenery, epic rapids, cozy lodges, and fun and fellowship. Just like last year we will also be featuring a mentor couple who will be offering wisdom and encouragement.
What is the husband and wife lodge trip?
This trip offers four nights of lodging and four days of rafting, all on the Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. The trip will begin at Morrisons Lodge on Thursday evening. After dinner and a night stay, we will hit the river on Friday morning. The second night will include Black Bar Lodge dinner and accommodations, followed by the third night at Marial Lodge. On the last night, you will dine and stay at Half Moon Bar Lodge before finishing the trip early Monday afternoon at Foster Bar near Agness, Oregon. Each day will offer the beauty and excitement of the river weaving its way through the wilderness canyon. There will be plenty of opportunities for short side hikes, visiting historic areas, and leisurely lunches on the banks of the river. This is a world-renowned stretch of river, known for its exciting Class III-IV whitewater. When you are off the river you will enjoy a hot shower, rustic lodge accommodations, amazing food, and time to fellowship with one another and our guest speakers. Our guest speakers will be sharing their insights on the journey of their relationship, and we hope they encourage each couple on how to grow in their marriage relationship to glorify God, bless their families, and bless their communities.
what logistics should I know?
Date
June 6th - 10th
Plan to arrive at Morrison’s Lodge between 3:00 and 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 6th. Your cars will be shuttled to Foster Bar so you can drive home at the end of the trip on June 10th.
Cost
The cost of this trip is $3,750 per couple. This covers the cost of staying overnight in the lodges and your meals. When you sign up a $1,000 deposit will be due. The balance of the trip cost ($2,750) will be due 60 days prior to the start of the trip, or before April 6th.
Who
This trip is open to any couples who are looking to create great memories together and who are interested in building a deeper marriage relationship.
Group Size
This trip is limited to 20 people total (10 couples).
